Our job at Totzke Ltd, is to educate you, so you can make an informed choice when you are looking at flooring product specification. To be honest, I didn’t appreciate the difference between Rubber or Vinyl before meeting our manufacturer; Zandur. The reason I chose to work with Zandur is because their product is of course very cool looking but upon digging deeper is more sustainable, healthier and more innovative than any other inferior SBR rubber product or vinyl.
Sustainability
Zandur will comply with your environmental assessments- It is DECLARE red list free, has a HPD and due to customer feedback we are about to launch an EPD. This is the best form of environment certification you can have for a rubber flooring product.
Sustain Cork Rubber is comprised of 2 key materials; 65% cork which is sustainably harvested and Nitrile Rubber which is the highest quality rubber on the commercial market. If you want to see the full list of ingredients, check out our Declare label here.
Slip Resistance
All Zandur nitrile rubber has excellent slip resistance; R10 wet and R12 Dry. If you look into other materials on the market they are much less.
Experience for your Clients
The nitrile rubber that we use is comfortable and warm to touch unlike other vinyl and cold SBR products. Unlike SBR and Recycled rubber, there are no VOCs and no offgasing. When it is hot, you will not smell the smell of a car garage! This makes it perfect for a yoga studio or a fitness space where you do not want to experience that!
Aethestic and Warranty
Zandur rubber has a timeless aesthetic so will not date and can have a long life on the floor. The colour options are vast and frequently updated. The longer the life on the floor, the more sustainable the product. They are so confident in the performance they offer a 20 year warranty!
We are free to answer any questions you may have around the product.
